A Spanish Guessing Game
The Spanish Team is giving you some clues in the form of the following videos and your task is to guess which place they all are from. It is one of the places we are going to visit in Spain. Post your guesses in the comments down below.

Christmas in Bechyně
Traditionally, in the last morning of school before Christmas the headmaster takes out his keyboard, gathers as many good singers in the ranks of school staff as possible, and with the help of some of the kids they all sing carols for the whole school and pretty much anyone who passes the school by. The onlookers usually light some candles or sparklers to make the atmosphere even better.
Merry Christmas from Bechyně!
Carol Singers
In the video everybody is very happy the day before our Christmas
holidays. Marina, the guitarist, is emulating Paco de Lucía and they all
- even the water molecule- seem to be very attentive to her playing.

Something for the Music Lovers
Paco de Lucía has been one of the best flamenco guitarists
ever. Unfortunately he died a year ago. He was born in Andalucía, our
region. One of his most famous musical pieces is this one "Entre dos
aguas" (something like" between two waters").
In Spanish if you
are "entre dos aguas" it means that you don´t know what to do, you are
indecisive. Fortunately, Paco de Lucía always knew what to do with his
Spanish guitar.
This video is very old but it shows the shortest version of "Entre dos aguas" that I have been able to find. I hope you like it.
Spanish Team at Work
Today the guys have been working hard to help with the building up
of the multilingual dictionary.
Warm regards and Merry Christmas!Monday, 14 December 2015
Videos from Spain
These are two videos made by our 15-16 year olds. They went to the
Alcazaba and our Cathedral for a visit and we would like to share them
with you. The background music of the second video is "El fandango de Almería" just played with spanish guitars and mandolins.
This video shows the typical dance.
